EMR recommendation service

Now that ICD-10 has been officially delayed for another year, everybody is turning their attention back to general operations. If you are thinking of switching to a new EMR application, or taking the plunge and implementing for the first time, now is an excellent time to get moving. Making that transition now will make it much easier to smoothly adjust to ICD-10 next year. We are also coming into the very end of the period of Meaningful Use incentive payments. If you don’t get started with that soon, you will then have to do the same work in order to avoid reimbursement penalties.

It’s very easy to get discouraged with implementing a new EMR before you even start. There are just so many to choose from, and they come in a dizzying array of prices and feature sets. And it’s a huge commitment for your business. With the amount of time, energy, and money involved in any conversion, it is critical to choose wisely and have confidence that you are making the right selection.

This is where I can help. I have a solid knowledge of the EMR market for individual and small group practices. I offer a customized service where I will help you select from a short list of the most appropriate applications for your practice.

How it works:
The service will consist of two hour-long sessions with you and your team. The first session will be an interview with me, where we will discuss your desires and the important details of your practice. In the second session I will present a customized list (usually 3) of my top EMR recommendations for you, based explicitly on your needs. After the second session, I am happy to arrange software demonstrations and Q&A sessions with any of the presented vendor options.

The cost of this service is $300, but you do not have to fully commit until after the first interview. If you decide not to commit after the first session, you will still benefit from using the interview to clarify your own needs and desires.

If you are thinking about making any new EMR implementations in the next 6 months, now is the time to give me a call, so that we can start identifying the best options for you and your practice.

    Michelle,

My husband, Dan, has been in the Fax FOIP, world for many years now. I spent a dozen years as a medical rep (surgical) in Georgia. I met you at a WEO function much earlier this year, and I misplaced your card. Sad, but totally true. I would love to meet briefly with you. I work with physicians in my practice, and between myself and my husband, I believe the 30 minutes would be a great investment of your time. My phone number is 503-544-0055. I am a Financial Professional with AXA Advisors, and a premier connector of people and businesses.

    Thanks,

    Christine Aronson
